The Grand Canyon looks nice from the rim, which is what most visitors spend most of their time. But I bet the Canyon looks different and more majestic from the canyon floor. However to do so, one need to make preparations to hike, have supplies and equipment and so on. I loved to have done that but could not bring the necessary with me as the trip was an appendage to a business trip. Maybe I can do better next time.
