Lovely Yi costumes at Baoshan, Yunnan, China

The ethnic minorities of Yunnan celebrate many different festivals during the year that are distinct from the Hans. The Dragon Feast Festival - 长龙宴- is celebrated by a few minorities including the Yi people (a good article on this is available here. The Yi people are distinguished by their colourful costumes which they still wears everyday. Their headdress is even more elaborate and intricate as is seen here.
